The most valuable Expedition card by confirmed sales at Fanatics Collect and Goldin is the 2002 holo Mewtwo #20: a PSA 10 sold for $216,000 after 32 bids in a Fanatics Collect weekly auction on September 27, 2026. Butterfree ($204,000), Gengar ($180,000), Mew ($175,297) and Poliwrath ($156,000) follow, all in PSA 10. Expedition, the first e-Card set, came out in September 2002 with 165 cards and 32 holo rares.

Current as of October 21, 2026. Sales are from Fanatics Collect's sold records, confirmed on each lot page that is still online, and Goldin lot records. Auction prices include buyer's premium. Only single cards with sales marked paid (Fanatics Collect) or sold (Goldin) are ranked, so multi-card lots and sealed product are left out. Fanatics dates are auction close dates in Pacific time, so lot pages can show the next day. Fanatics Collect lot pages show a result as sold even when its sold records still list it as unpaid.

Results Waiting on Payment

Fanatics Collect's sold items records mark some results as unpaid (the lot page still says sold), and those can fall through. On October 21, 2026 these were the biggest Expedition results still marked unpaid, so none is ranked:

  • Pichu #22, PSA 10: $144,000 on October 11, 2026. If it is paid, Pichu moves up to #6
  • Mew #19: a CGC Gem Mint 10 at $43,200 and a PSA 9 at $36,000, both on October 11, 2026, below Mew's ranked $175,297

How to Check an Expedition Price Yourself

Check the card number. The 32 holo rares are numbered #1 to #32, and some of the same Pokémon also appear as a non-holo rare with a different number. The holo Mewtwo is #20, and the Mewtwo #56 is a different card: its reverse holo PSA 10 sold for $31,800 at Fanatics Collect on October 4, 2026, against $216,000 for the #20 holo.

There is no English 1st Edition. The English Expedition set was printed without 1st Edition stamps, so grade and print type drive the price. "1st Edition Expedition" listings are the 2001 Japanese set, a different card.
