Pokémon Delta Reign Reveals Raikou ex, Sprigatito and Azurill

Pokémon Delta Reign's new English reveals give collectors more to follow than Mega Rayquaza ex. September's preview wave includes Raikou ex, Sprigatito and Azurill artwork, with the expansion still scheduled for November 6, 2026. Pokémon's September 21 card feature also previews Heat Rotom ex and Delibird.

Raikou ex Gives the Reveal a Different Kind of Chase

The English Raikou ex image in GamesRadar's exclusive reveal shows artwork credited to Oku, with Raikou descending through a rocky landscape crossed by lightning. Its collector number is 136/103, visible on the card itself.

That is a specific version to put on a want list, rather than just writing “Raikou.” The card name, language, artwork and collector number identify the printing you mean. They do not establish a market price before that English version is available.

There is a gameplay detail worth reading correctly, too. Thunder-Clad is an attack, not a free Ability. Its printed exception lets it be used on the first turn when you go first, and its effect searches for an Energy card to attach to Raikou. Power Rush deals 200 damage, with a coin-flip restriction that can prevent attacks during your next turn. Those details describe the card, not a prediction of tournament results.

Sprigatito and Azurill Broaden the Artwork Appeal

VGC's official exclusive reveal identifies a Sprigatito illustration rare by Jiro Sasumo for the English expansion. For collectors who follow a Pokémon or illustrator across sets, that is a more useful starting point than assuming the headline Mega will be their only target.

Serebii's September 22 reveal, supplied by The Pokémon Company International, adds Azurill by Narumi Sato and a standard Zarude card by Nisota Niso. The revealed Azurill illustration places it above a garden pond, surrounded by flowers and greenery.

The full English Azurill image reads 115/103. Read the card image when checking this identity, rather than treating a database's provisional set total as a finished checklist. A collector number above the printed denominator does not tell you the full number of cards or variants in the expansion.

What Has Changed Since the First Announcement

The important September development is the appearance of specific English cards and their artwork. The November launch itself was already announced, it is not a new release-date announcement today.

PokéBeach's September 22 roundup reports that TPCi's European branch distributed a wider batch of images to media outlets. Individual official reveals are the best place to inspect the exact cards discussed here. A roundup is useful for discovery, but it should not turn speculative forum comments into confirmed prerelease promos.

Mega Rayquaza ex remains the expansion's headline Pokémon. The official expansion page is the place to follow the product's confirmed scope as more information arrives. This article is a reveal update, not a complete card list or an assertion that every Japanese counterpart will appear in the same English product.

November Release and the Earlier Prerelease Window

The scheduled retail release is November 6, 2026. VGC's reveal also confirms that participating retailers can host prerelease events beginning October 24. Check the actual event listing before making plans, that date does not promise every store will hold an event or sell unrestricted stock early.

Build a Want List Before Building a Master Set

Start with the artworks you genuinely want, then record the exact English printing once revealed. Leave pull rates and future prices blank until suitable evidence exists. A dramatic image is a reason to enjoy a card, not a reason to promise scarcity or returns.
