Pokémon Delta Reign: Mega Rayquaza Returns November 6, Here Is What Is Confirmed
Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution: Delta Reign is announced for November 6, 2026, with Mega Rayquaza ex leading the expansion. Pokémon's August 20 announcement confirms over 135 cards, more than 20 Trainer cards and over 35 cards with special illustrations.
This September 17 refresh updates the existing set overview for collectors looking beyond 30th Celebration. The announcement is not new today, and a Japanese card's asking price is not being presented as the value of a future English printing.
The Confirmed Pokémon Give the Set Its Shape
Alongside Mega Rayquaza ex, Pokémon names Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex and Mega Golisopod ex. These are the featured Pokémon confirmed in the official announcement, not a complete collector-number checklist. Read the original reveal.
That distinction matters when building a want list. A character being confirmed does not tell you every artwork it will receive, how an individual version will be distributed or which printing will become most sought after. Start with the confirmed names and add exact cards only when a reliable checklist identifies them.
November Release, Earlier Prerelease Window
PokéBeach's August 20 report places prerelease events from October 24 to November 1, 2026. Treat that as a reported programme window and confirm the date, entry process and availability with a participating store. PokéBeach's product report.
A prerelease is not the same promise as a normal retail launch or an unrestricted early booster-box sale. Before making plans, find out what the organiser actually offers. Do not infer an event's entry terms from a retailer's unrelated preorder listing.
The 30th Celebration hub covers the anniversary release before Delta Reign. They are different expansions, even if a seller promotes both in the same autumn preorder email.
Keep English Printings Separate From Japanese Market Talk
Our earlier coverage discussed Japan's Storm Emeralda market. Those historical observations should not be carried forward as current English prices. Language, release, printing and condition all belong in a card comparison.
For the same reason, a Japanese gallery should not silently become a definitive English checklist. Cards can occupy different product positions across releases. Use the exact English product description before assuming a card appears in boosters rather than as an included promo.
Choose a Product for the Collection You Want
An Elite Trainer Box, booster bundle and individual card purchase solve different problems. Compare listed contents, accessories you will actually use and the total delivered cost. A larger box can be appealing without being the right choice for someone who wants only one artwork.

The Checks That Still Matter Before November
Confirm the product language, expected dispatch date and exact included promo before checkout. Recheck the official card information when further reveals arrive. Avoid treating a placeholder image, sold-out button or purchase limit as a disclosed print run.

Most importantly, separate enjoyment from speculation. Mega Rayquaza is a reason to pay attention to the release, not evidence of a guaranteed return. An opening budget should make sense even if none of the packs produces your preferred artwork.
