Pokémon Reveals Four Delta Reign Prerelease Promos for October 24

Pokémon has revealed the four Delta Reign prerelease promos: Masquerain, Magmortar, Enamorus and Kommo-o. Its September 28 announcement puts the Build & Battle Box at select Play! Pokémon Stores from October 24, 2026, before the expansion's November 6 release. For collectors, the important distinction is one promo per box, not the complete group shown in the promotional artwork.

The Four Promo Identities

The official card images identify Masquerain MEP 111, Magmortar MEP 112, Enamorus MEP 113 and Kommo-o MEP 114. Use those printed numbers when comparing a loose promo with an expansion card featuring the same Pokémon.

A character name is an incomplete checklist. If your binder includes prerelease promos, give them their own entries instead of silently counting them as numbered expansion cards. That also makes it easier to spot a duplicate before trading for another copy.

PokéBeach's same-day coverage describes these as alternate-art versions of cards in the set. The official images, rather than a seller's shortened title, should be the reference when you identify the specific printing.

What a Build & Battle Box Includes

Pokémon lists four Delta Reign boosters, a 40-card ready-to-play deck using cards from current and earlier expansions, and one of the four foil promos. Its prerelease format uses a 40-card deck and four Prize cards.

That configuration has a different purpose from buying a product solely for loose packs. It gives an attendee a starting point for short games, while a promo collector may care primarily about which character is included. Neither goal establishes a guaranteed choice of promo or equal distribution between the four.

The official description does not let you work out how many boxes will complete your promo group. Duplicate results remain possible. If your objective is one missing promo, compare a correctly identified single with buying another sealed box rather than assuming an additional box will fill the gap.

October 24 Is the Start, Not Every Store's Appointment

Use the official Event Locator to find a participating venue, then check that venue's own event details. Ask about registration, entry cost, start time and what the entry includes. A national start date does not reserve a seat or establish local stock.

If you plan to play, bring the accessories requested by the organizer and leave time for registration. Treat event attendance and purchasing a sealed box as separate questions. A store may explain its arrangements differently from an online retailer selling the product later.

Keep the Promo Record With the Card

For a loose card, record its number, language and condition. For a sealed purchase, retain the complete product name and order details. An attractive picture of all four cards on a listing is not enough to establish that all four are included in the purchase.

Do not assign a resale premium just because a card is available before the full expansion. A release announcement is evidence of a product and date, not a future market price.
