A second event window does not mean a second catch. Meowscarada with the Mightiest Mark returned to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet on September 4, 2026. The seven-star raid runs until September 10 at 23:59 UTC. Players who already caught this event Meowscarada cannot catch another on the same save, although they can still join battles for other rewards.

The Details That Change Your Plan

The official raid notice confirms the Grass Tera Type, the Mightiest Mark, and the one-catch restriction. Bulbapedia’s Poké Portal News archive independently records the September 4 to 10 return. This is a Scarlet and Violet event in Paldea, not Pokémon GO or TCG Pocket.

If the marked Meowscarada is missing from your collection, the return gives you another opportunity. If you already caught it, your decision is different: whether you want more battles and their other rewards. Check your save before organizing a session around a catch the game will not offer again.

Get the Event Into the Right Game

Update Poké Portal News through the game’s Poké Portal and Mystery Gift menus. Black-crystal access depends on postgame progress, while the official notice also describes joining another trainer’s raid through multiplayer. Online play has its usual account, connection, and membership requirements.

We have not tested a guaranteed solo counter for this return, so this is not a one-shot build guide. A confident-looking team screenshot is not evidence that a strategy will work for every player. Match advice to the exact raid, game version, and Pokémon you can actually prepare.

For the deadline, use the published UTC time rather than a vague “Thursday night.” A player in another time zone may reach the calendar boundary at a different local hour. Put the end time in your own calendar if you plan to play near the close.

Why the Mark Matters to a Collector

In-game collecting has its own version of provenance: which event a Pokémon came from and what makes that encounter distinct. A marked event catch is not the same collecting objective as obtaining any member of the species. Decide which objective you care about before spending time on preparation.

That does not make the catch a financial asset. We are not assigning it a resale value, calling it permanently exclusive, or suggesting that the return proves it will never appear again. The official notice leaves open the possibility of future availability.

It is also worth separating a digital Pokémon, a game cartridge, and a trading card featuring that species. They can all belong to the same fan’s collection, but none automatically includes the others. A marketplace listing should state the physical item being sold clearly.
