Morpeko Is in Pokémon UNITE, and Its License Event Has a September Deadline
Check the event before spending currency on Morpeko. Pokémon UNITE added the Two-Sided Pokémon on September 4, 2026, alongside missions that can award its Unite license. The official Asia notice lists the event through September 30 at 8:59 a.m. JST. That is September 29 at 23:59 UTC, not the end of September 30 everywhere.
The License Comes From an Event Route
The official announcement says completing specified event missions can obtain Morpeko’s Unite license. PokéJungle’s launch coverage describes the limited-time route as a way to earn it for free. Neither statement means that opening the app automatically awards it.
Open the event panel and read the missions, progress requirements, and reward-claim conditions shown for your account. We are not inventing a mission count, daily completion rate, or currency cost absent from the verified announcement. The current game screen is where those operational details belong.
Watch the Time Zone, Not Just the Date
The published window begins September 4 at 4 p.m. JST and ends September 30 at 8:59 a.m. JST. Because Japan is nine hours ahead of UTC, the closing date is still September 29 in UTC. That is an easy distinction to miss when a short social caption says only “until September 30.”
Leave enough time to complete and claim the reward rather than assuming the last minute is a reliable plan. If your game’s countdown differs from a repost, compare it with the official notice and the time zone before drawing conclusions.
The deadline concerns this event route. We are not claiming that Morpeko disappears from the game when the missions end. A limited acquisition event and a playable character’s ongoing availability are different questions.
A New Character Is Not a Required Purchase
The sensible first step is to understand the available route, not to treat a launch as an instruction to spend. If you are returning to UNITE, check the current interface and your progress before using an older guide. Systems and requirements can change between visits.
We have not tested Morpeko enough to call it the strongest pick or prescribe a competitive build. A new character can be interesting because you like it, not because someone predicts that it will dominate. That distinction makes a launch more enjoyable and your decisions easier to explain.
Keep Digital and Physical Collecting Separate
A Unite license is an in-game unlock. It is not a trading card, a physical game, or a redeemable collectible. If the character inspires a broader collection, evaluate each physical item on its own terms: identity, condition, price, and what is actually included.
