Secret Lair Corn Maze Superdrop: Labyrinth, KPop Demon Hunters and Marvel Zombies Land October 12

The Secret Lair Corn Maze Superdrop goes on sale October 12, 2026 at 9 a.m. PT, with eight drops and 46 cards at $29.99 non-foil or $39.99 foil per drop. Wizards of the Coast revealed the full lineup on September 30: three Jim Henson's Labyrinth drops, a KPop Demon Hunters drop, a Marvel Zombies drop and three art drops. If you want one of the crossovers, the pre-queue and the $199 promo threshold are the two details that matter most.
Sale Day: Time, Queue and Bundles
Wizards describes the lineup as "some of our most frightfully fabulous Magic cards yet." Here is how the sale works, straight from the announcement:
Timing
- Pre-queue opens: 8 a.m. PT on October 12, 2026
- Sale goes live: 9 a.m. PT
- Store: MagicSecretLair.com only. Wizards recommends setting up a Wizards account and shipping details in advance
- Queue: to join the pre-queue, add any product to your cart and go to checkout between 8 and 9 a.m. PT. Everyone in the pre-queue gets a random place in line when the sale starts, and later arrivals join in order. Adding items to your cart does not reserve them.
Prices
- Single drop: $29.99 non-foil, $39.99 foil
- A-Maize-Ing Everything Bundle (all 8 drops, foil and non-foil): $539.99
- Full Moon Foil Bundle (all 8 in foil): $319.92
- Pumpkin Spiced Non-Foil Bundle (all 8 non-foil): $239.92
Extras
- Promo: one foil Maze of Ith as "The Labyrinth" for every $199 spent, while supplies last
- Shipping: free on orders over $99, per the store's terms
The math on the bundles: the foil and non-foil bundles cost exactly eight single drops, so they save nothing. The Everything Bundle saves $19.85 against buying all 16 separately ($559.84), and at $539.99 it clears the $199 promo threshold twice, so it earns two Labyrinth promos.
Wizards does not give an end date or a print run for the drops, so plan for launch day if you want a specific one.
All Eight Drops and Their Cards
Secret Lair x Jim Henson's Labyrinth: Fear Me, Love Me (6 cards)
- Muxus, Goblin Grandee as "Jareth, Goblin King", plus Boggart Shenanigans, Dance with Calamity, Goblin Rabblemaster, Claim the Firstborn and Trinisphere
Secret Lair x Jim Henson's Labyrinth: Should You Need Us (6 cards)
- Jodah, the Unifier as "Sarah, Champion to the Lost", Lu Xun, Scholar General as "Sir Didymus" (a reversible card), Kami of the Crescent Moon as "The Worm", Kogla, the Titan Ape as "Ludo", Shigeki, Jukai Visionary as "The Wiseman" and Wort, Boggart Auntie as "Hoggle"
- The Jareth and Sarah art comes from one painting, so the two cards form a single scene side by side
Secret Lair x Jim Henson's Labyrinth: Through the Labyrinth (7 cards)

What Collectors Are Actually Paying For
Mostly the art and the licenses. On October 1, 2026, Scryfall listed the cheapest existing printing of Trinisphere at $34.41, Muxus, Goblin Grandee at $11.30 and Ashnod's Altar at $13.40. That means Fear Me, Love Me already covers its $29.99 price on Trinisphere and Muxus alone. Most of the other drops are bought for the artwork rather than the singles.
The crossovers are the chase. The Labyrinth drops turn the film's cast into legendary creatures, four of the six Marvel Zombies cards get zombie Avengers renames, and the KPop Demon Hunters drop brings the Netflix film to Magic. Some players are already grumbling that the KPop drop has no creature cards for the film's heroes, according to MTGRocks, so expect it to land with fans of the film more than deckbuilders.
The cards keep their original rules text, so they are legal wherever the originals are. Underworld Breach remains banned in Modern, Legacy and Pioneer, and Trinisphere is restricted in Vintage, per Scryfall.
Our take: if you collect Secret Lairs sealed, the Labyrinth trio and the Everything Bundle are the obvious candidates. Our breakdown of the Magic Zeta Set and its random packs shows how differently Wizards can structure a Secret Lair release, and the most expensive trading cards list puts Magic's top end in context.
Where to Go From Here
Set an alarm for 8 a.m. PT on October 12 if a crossover drop is on your list. If you would rather open real cards without a queue, the Polkastarter marketplace gives you a free mystery pack at signup, and every Lootbox lists its contents, values, and chances before you open. Secret Lair products are not promised marketplace contents.
