Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Launches Today, What the Dagdan Collection Actually Includes
Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave launches September 17, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2, and its Dagdan Collection adds a steelbook, character art cards, a map of Dagda and an artbook. Nintendo's official special-edition listing identifies the physical package and its release date.
For collectors, the decision is not simply whether to play the game. It is whether those physical extras are the version of the release you want to keep.
What Comes in the Dagdan Collection?
The official contents image shows the game with the special-edition items. The artbook, character cards, map and steelbook have different display and storage uses. A digital standard-game purchase should not be mistaken for an order containing those physical extras. Nintendo's collection page.
If you are buying for the art, look closely at the official images before choosing an edition. An artbook is something you can read repeatedly, while a map or character card may be intended for display. Decide which of those you would actually use rather than counting extras as automatic value.

This Is a Nintendo Switch 2 Release
Nintendo identifies Fortune's Weave as exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2. Do not buy it as a gift for an original Switch or Switch Lite without checking the recipient's hardware. Nintendo's launch-week announcement repeats the platform and September 17 date.
The ordinary meaning of a physical edition also should not become a promise about every installation or update requirement. Check the package and official system information if offline use is important to your purchase. This report does not claim that no download will ever be needed.
Inspect an Opened Collector's Edition Item by Item
When buying an opened copy, ask for photographs of the complete contents laid out together. Check the artbook's corners and spine, the map's condition, the steelbook's surfaces and whether the advertised character cards are present.
