Pokémon 30th Celebration Binder Delayed: December 4 Is the New US Date
The binder is moving, not the whole birthday party. Pokémon's US product showcase now lists the 30th Celebration Binder Collection for December 4, 2026, rather than the October 2 date reported previously. PokéBeach flagged the change on September 4. The wider expansion still begins its rollout on September 16, so collectors should check the product name before changing their plans.
One Product, a Much Later Date
The official US showcase is the key reference. Its Binder Collection section says December 4. The product combines a nine-pocket binder and five 30th Celebration booster packs. It is not the Booster Bundle, the Elite Trainer Box, or the Mini Tin range, even when store listings group all of those under the same anniversary banner.
That naming detail matters more than it sounds. A search for “30th Celebration release date” can return a correct date for the wrong product. A screenshot without the full product title can be just as misleading. If your order contains several anniversary items, review each line rather than assuming one date applies to the whole basket.
September and October Are Still on the Calendar
The same US showcase continues to list the first wave of products for September 16. It lists October 2 for the Booster Bundle and Mini Tins. Those dates were still visible when checked on September 5. The binder change should not be described as a delay to the expansion itself.

Why Your Retailer May Still Say October 2
Not every page has caught up. The GameStop Binder Collection FAQ still displayed October 2 when checked. That mismatch does not establish an earlier shipment. It shows why a product page, an order estimate, and the publisher's current schedule need to be read separately.
If you already ordered, ask the retailer whether your specific order has a revised dispatch estimate. Keep the confirmation email and check whether a mixed order ships together or separately. Do not cancel or duplicate an order solely because two public pages disagree. The retailer handling the order is the one that can clarify its fulfillment plan.
What the Delay Does Not Tell Us
The checked official listing does not explain the reason for the change or give a print quantity. A later date is not evidence that the binder will become rare, that its packs have changed, or that secondary-market prices must rise. Those are separate claims requiring separate evidence.
This update is also US-specific. Local product pages and retailers can have different schedules. An American date should not quietly be applied to a UK, European, or Japanese order.
The collector takeaway is useful without the drama: keep the product name, region, and date together. That makes it easier to plan a collection around what you actually want rather than whichever preorder screenshot spreads fastest.
