Espeon or Umbreon? The Next 30th Celebration Decks Pair Each With a Different Promo
The upcoming English 30th Celebration Battle Decks give collectors a clear choice: Espeon ex with Victini, or Umbreon ex with Zeraora. Pokémon describes an all-foil 60-card deck in each box. GameStop currently lists an October 30, 2026 release. Official product overview and retailer date.
This is an upcoming-product preview checked September 17, not a claim that the decks were announced today or that both versions come in every order.
Choose the Pair, Not Just the Box Colour
Pokémon's description pairs an illustration rare-style Victini with Espeon ex and an illustration rare-style Zeraora with Umbreon ex. Each deck also comes with a deck box, coin and playmat. The package is designed around a playable deck, not random booster openings. Announced contents.
For a character collector, that pairing is the main buying decision. Someone collecting Zeraora has a different reason to choose the Umbreon version from someone who simply prefers nighttime artwork. Write down both the lead Pokémon and the included promo before comparing listings.
The phrase illustration rare-style describes the product's promotional artwork. It should not become a claim that an identically named booster card, rarity or collector number is included. Compare the actual card image and printed details when they are available.
A Styles-May-Vary Listing May Not Give You a Choice
The GameStop product is labelled Styles May Vary. Do not assume a photograph showing both versions means the order contains both, or that a preference entered in a note will be honoured. Check the selectable variant and the seller's terms before checkout.
This is especially important when buying a gift for someone who collects one Pokémon. A box that is technically from the correct range can still be the wrong version for their collection. Keep the variant name on the receipt where possible.

All-Foil Does Not Mean Every Card Is a Unique Chase
A ready-to-play deck serves a different purpose from a binder checklist. Do not read its total card count as the number of unique designs you are adding to a collection. Repeated cards can be useful for play without being separate collecting targets.
Likewise, a foil finish does not establish a future resale value. If you are buying mainly for one promo, compare the whole product with the exact single once a trustworthy listing exists. Do not count every card at a guessed individual price and call the box guaranteed value.
