Futera Edition 22 Lists 500 Cases, but Its Posted Dates Conflict

Futera's World Football Unique Edition 22 listing advertises a 500-case collection and a September 26, 2026 release date, but its own shipping text conflicts. The manufacturer's product page also contains an October 4 release reference in its separate Shipping Info section. Treat delivery timing as unresolved until Futera clarifies it.

What the Product Listing Confirms

As checked September 26, the display box contains four packs, is listed at US$435 and shows Out of Stock. Those are a dated snapshot, not a promise that a new allocation is available.

The page describes premium cards across autograph, memorabilia and gold-plated framed categories. Its box-level statement promises at least one pack containing an on-card autograph, a one-of-one memorabilia card or a gold-plated framed card.

Read the alternatives carefully. That wording does not promise all three categories, a named player or a one-of-one autograph in every box. A product's gallery shows possibilities, not necessarily the contents of the particular sealed box you buy.

Five Hundred Cases Is Not a Per-Card Print Run

The announced collection limit is a useful piece of production information. It should not be presented as the quantity of every individual card.

For a specific collectible, inspect its set name and numbering. A limited overall release can still contain multiple card categories and parallel versions with different production quantities. The case count alone does not identify which version is in a seller's photograph.

Two Dates Appear on the Same Page

The main description and its nearby shipping paragraph refer to September 26. The expanded Shipping Info section instead refers to an October 4 release date.

We have not established which statement controls current fulfilment. One may be outdated, but choosing that explanation without confirmation would be a guess. This article does not claim the product is delayed, that all orders have shipped or that buyers will receive it on either date.

If you already ordered, use the confirmation and tracking for your own transaction. If you are considering a secondary seller, ask whether the box is physically in hand. A screenshot of the manufacturer's date is not proof of that seller's inventory.

Read Provenance and Finish Descriptions Literally

Futera describes on-card signatures and game or training memorabilia. The exact card's wording matters when assessing what those features mean for that copy.

A gold-plated frame should not be described as a solid-gold card. A memorabilia design should not automatically be assigned to a named match. Those distinctions affect how accurately a seller can explain the object, regardless of its visual appeal.

Futera also states that its cards are not official products of the FA, the Royal Spanish Football Federation or La Liga. Do not infer a league licence merely from a player's appearance in the collection.

Check the Object and the Offer Separately

For a single card, request readable front and back photographs and match the stated parallel or numbering. If a slab is involved, use the graded-card verification checks rather than relying on the grade in a listing title.

For a sealed product, confirm the format, condition and seller's shipping commitment. A good photograph of the box does not answer whether it is a preorder, what charges apply or when it will be dispatched.

The date discrepancy is therefore a reason to ask a concrete question, not a reason to invent urgency. A collector can remain interested in the product while waiting for clearer fulfilment information.
