The most valuable Tyranitar card by confirmed sales is the 2010 HeartGold and SoulSilver Unleashed Tyranitar Prime #88 (PSA labels it "Tyranitar Holo"): a PSA 10 sold for $252,000 in a Fanatics Collect Premier auction on September 25, 2026, after 34 bids. That is more than three times the next Tyranitar on the list, and the lot page showed only 12 PSA 10s at the time of sale. Below are the Tyranitar cards with the biggest confirmed sales, the Shining Tyranitar versions compared, and how to check a price yourself.

Current as of October 13, 2026. Sales are from Fanatics Collect's sold records, confirmed on each lot page, and Goldin lot records. Auction prices include buyer's premium. Only sales marked paid or sold are ranked.

Shining Tyranitar: Which Version Sells for the Most

Shining Tyranitar comes in three versions, and the price gap between them is large:

Neo Destiny 1st Edition #113: $45,000 in PSA 10 as a Fanatics Collect Buy Now on September 21, 2026. A CGC Pristine 10 sold for $15,600 on April 5, 2026, and a BGS 9.5 for $10,500 on May 3, 2026, both at Fanatics Collect.

Neo Destiny Unlimited #113: $15,000 in PSA 10 as a Fanatics Collect Buy Now on March 25, 2026, and $13,500 as a Buy Now on September 22, 2026. Goldin sold one for $4,026 in October 2025.

Japanese Neo 4 #248: $43,200 in PSA 10 on June 28, 2026, close to the 1st Edition English card.

If either unpaid $84,000 result of October 11 goes through, the 1st Edition's lead over the Japanese card becomes a near doubling.

How to Check a Tyranitar Price Yourself

Count only paid sales. Fanatics Collect marks some results as unpaid, and those can fall through.

Match the edition and the grade. A 1st Edition Neo Discovery Tyranitar PSA 10 sold for $45,600 on October 4, 2026, while an Unlimited PSA 10 sold for $4,699 on August 28, 2026. A CGC or BGS slab can sell for far less than a PSA 10 of the same card, or more. Our CGC vs PSA guide covers the differences.

Check the population. Twelve PSA 10s of Tyranitar Prime, per the September 2026 lot page, is a small number. Our guide on how to read the PSA pop report shows how to find it.
