Special Deck Set MEGA: Mega Feraligatr, Dragonite and Gengar ex Decks Out November 13

The Pokémon Card Game's Special Deck Set MEGA releases in Japan on November 13, 2026 at a suggested retail price of ¥5,500 (tax included), with three ready-to-play 60-card decks led by Mega Feraligatr ex, Mega Dragonite ex and Mega Gengar ex, per the official product page checked November 5, 2026. Each deck carries two holo copies of its Mega ex, so the box holds six in total. Here is what is in each deck, what the three Mega ex do, and what else comes in the box.
What Is in the Box
Per The Pokémon Company's product page, the set contains:
- 3 decks of 60 cards: Mega Feraligatr ex, Mega Dragonite ex and Mega Gengar ex
- 3 paper deck cases
- 3 Pokémon coins
- 1 sheet of damage counters and markers
- 1 playmat
- 1 rulebook and 3 player's guides
- 1 card box, plus a paper damage counter case
Pokémon notes that some of the cards were released or distributed before, and that the decks repeat cards by design. The page pitches the set as a way to start playing straight away, with every accessory needed for a match in the box.
The Three Mega ex
The card details below come from the official card images on the product page. Attack and Ability names follow the existing English prints of the same cards.
Mega Feraligatr ex
- 370 HP, Water, Stage 2 (evolves from Croconaw)
- Mortal Crunch: 200 damage, plus 200 more if your opponent's Active Pokémon already has damage counters, for 400 in total
- Card number: MG 003/038
Mega Dragonite ex
- 370 HP, Dragon, Stage 2 (evolves from Dragonair)
- Ability, Sky Transport: once during your turn, switch your Active Pokémon with one of your Benched Pokémon
- Ryuno Glide: 330 damage, discarding 2 Energy from this Pokémon
- Card number: MG 022/038
Mega Gengar ex
- 350 HP, Darkness, Stage 2 (evolves from Haunter)
- Ability, Shadowy Concealment: when one of your Darkness Pokémon is Knocked Out by damage from an attack by your opponent's Pokémon ex, your opponent takes one fewer Prize card (the effect doesn't stack)
- Void Gale: 230 damage, then move 1 Energy from this Pokémon to one of your Benched Pokémon
- Card number: MG 014/038
As with every Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, the opponent takes three Prize cards when one is Knocked Out.

The Holo Cards in Each Deck
Beyond the two holo Mega ex, each deck adds a holo copy of each of its earlier evolution stages, per the decklists:
- Mega Feraligatr ex deck: 2 holo Mega Feraligatr ex, 1 holo Totodile, 1 holo Croconaw, plus Mantine, Barraskewda and Glastrier, and 18 Basic Water Energy
- Mega Dragonite ex deck: 2 holo Mega Dragonite ex, 1 holo Dratini, 1 holo Dragonair, plus Wellspring Mask Ogerpon and Boltund, with 6 Basic Water and 12 Basic Lightning Energy (Ryuno Glide costs one Water and two Lightning)
- Mega Gengar ex deck: 2 holo Mega Gengar ex, 1 holo Gastly, 1 holo Haunter, plus Sableye, Seviper and Garbodor, and 18 Basic Darkness Energy
All three decks share 4 Ultra Ball, 2 Boss's Orders and 4 Lillie's Determination, a Supporter that shuffles your hand into your deck and draws 6 cards, or 8 if you still have 6 Prize cards left.
What It Means for Collectors
This is a Japanese product. As of November 5, 2026, no English version has been announced. Our take: at ¥5,500 for three full decks, six holo Mega ex and a playmat, this is a starter product more than a chase product, and the page itself pitches it to players just starting out.
All three Mega ex already have English prints with the same attacks, per Limitless: Mega Feraligatr ex and Mega Dragonite ex in Ascended Heroes (043 and 152), and Mega Gengar ex in Phantasmal Flames (056). The deck-set copies carry the MG set code and a /038 number at the bottom left (Mega Gengar ex is MG 014/038), so check that corner when a Japanese single is listed.
If you are importing, budget for shipping and the importer's margin on top of the Japanese suggested price, and remember the cards are in Japanese. Our Pokémon TCG release dates page tracks the English schedule, and our guides to the most valuable Gengar cards and most valuable Dragonite cards show where the older cards of both sit.
