Pokémon TCG Release Dates for 2027

No English set for 2027 has been officially announced as of October 2, 2026. Here is what is out there, clearly labeled:

Reported, not confirmed: a first Pokémon TCG Valentine's Box on January 27, 2027, with 20 mini packs of three cards and five sticker sheets, according to PokéBeach. The Pokémon Company International has not announced it, so treat the date and contents as a report.

Japan first: Delta Reign's cards debuted in Japan first, in Storm Emeralda, as our Storm Emeralda first prices report explains. In Japan, PokéBeach has reported Aura Seeker, led by Mega Lucario Z ex, for November 27, 2026. Any English name or date for those is speculation until The Pokémon Company International announces it.

How the Pokémon TCG Release Schedule Works

2026 followed a steady rhythm. The six expansions landed about eight weeks apart: 56 days between each of the first four, 61 days to 30th Celebration and 51 days to Delta Reign.

Five of the six launched on a Friday. 30th Celebration was the exception, releasing on a Wednesday. Prerelease events usually open about two weeks before a set, and Pokémon TCG Live tends to get the cards a day early.

If you want sealed product at retail price, the launch week and the prerelease weekend are your best windows. Our best Pokémon packs to buy guide compares the formats by cost per pack.
