Pokémon TCG Valentine's Box: 20 Packs and a Mailbox for $14.99 (Jan 15)

The Pokémon TCG Valentine's Box hits stores on January 15, 2027 at $14.99, according to ICv2 and PokeGuardian, with 20 Collect & Share Booster Packs, To/From labels and a box that turns into a mailbox. It is built for handing out packs on Valentine's Day, the way Trick or Trade works at Halloween. Below: the official contents, the per-pack math against Trick or Trade, and what is still missing.
What Comes in the Box
Pokémon's own product sheet, published by PokeGuardian on October 29, 2026, lists four things:
- 20 Collect & Share Booster Packs
- 2 sheets of To/From label stickers
- A mailbox for receiving valentine gifts
- 3 sheets of stickers for decorating the mailbox
The idea is classroom valentines. You write a To/From label, stick it on a pack and hand it out, and the box itself becomes a mailbox for the ones you get back. The sheet says the box "becomes a mailbox for receiving valentines from classmates and friends." The box art shows Pikachu, Jigglypuff and Sylveon inside a heart.
One detail differs between reports. ICv2 mentions a single sheet of stickers, while the product sheet lists three sticker sheets plus two label sheets, so go with the sheet. Early reports of five sticker sheets likely counted the two label sheets together with the three sticker sheets.

Price Per Pack Against Trick or Trade
The closest product is the Halloween Trick or Trade BOOster Bundle, which also packs small shareable boosters. Here is how the numbers line up:
Valentine's Box (January 2027)
- Price: $14.99, per ICv2 (October 30, 2026)
- Packs: 20
- Per pack: about $0.75, plus the mailbox and stickers
Trick or Trade BOOster Bundle (2024)
- Price: $14.99, from ICv2's case price of $179.88 for 12 bundles (June 17, 2024)
- Packs: 35 mini packs of 3 cards
- Per pack: about $0.43
Trick or Trade BOOster Bundle (2023)
- Price: $19.99, per ICv2 (June 19, 2023)
- Packs: 50 mini packs of 3 cards
- Per pack: about $0.40
2024 is the latest Trick or Trade bundle with new cards. Card Gamer reported on October 14, 2025 that there was no new Trick or Trade set that year.
So each Valentine's pack costs about 75 to 90 percent more than a Halloween one. Part of that is the mailbox and three sticker sheets. The rest depends on the card count, which Pokémon has not given: if these are three-card packs like Halloween's, you are paying for the extras.
What Pokémon Has Not Confirmed
- Cards per pack: nothing official. Dexerto, citing PokeBeach, reported three cards per pack on October 2, 2026, like Trick or Trade, but the product sheet and ICv2 give no count
- Which cards: no card list or images yet. PokeGuardian says it is unknown what the cards look like, and Essential Japan says it is unclear whether they carry a seasonal stamp
- Where: Essential Japan reports a US release, and ICv2 and PokeGuardian price it in US dollars. We found no UK or EU date or price as of November 2, 2026
- A product page: Pokémon's US product gallery had no Valentine's Box page when we checked on November 2, 2026
- The date: Dexerto, citing PokeBeach, reported January 27 on October 2, 2026. ICv2 and PokeGuardian gave January 15 on October 29 to 30, so January 15 is the newer date
Our take: this is a party favor first. Twenty packs and a mailbox for $14.99 is good value if you are filling a class list, and $0.75 a pack is still cheap for something a kid opens on the spot. For collectors, everything hangs on the card list. Wait for it before buying a second box, because if the packs are plain reprints with no Valentine's stamp, the chase is thin.
