The most valuable Garchomp card is the 2008 Majestic Dawn Garchomp LV.X #97, which sold for $900,000 in PSA 10 at Fanatics Collect on September 20, 2026. That is about 176 times the $5,100 eBay sale from January 2023 that ComicBook.com lists as the previous PSA 10 record. Here are the 12 most valuable Garchomp cards, why the LV.X jumped and what the same card brought in PSA 9 and PSA 8.

Current as of November 1, 2026. One entry per card at its highest known sale. Results come from Goldin lot records and Fanatics Collect's Paid sold records, and auction prices include buyer's premium. Buy Now prices carry no premium. Heritage and eBay were not fully swept, so a higher sale there is possible. Goldin dates are US Eastern and Fanatics Collect dates are US Pacific.

1. 2008 Majestic Dawn Garchomp LV.X #97: $900,000

  • Sale: Fanatics Collect, September 20, 2026, PSA 10, 35 bids
  • Why it matters: the lot page shows a PSA population of 7, and ComicBook.com puts the previous PSA 10 record at $5,100 on eBay in January 2023
  • A PSA 9 sold for $1,800 at Fanatics Collect in July 2026, before this sale. Scrydex's sales table then shows eBay PSA 8s at $5,500 to $6,499.99 from late September to October 6, 2026, up from $920 on September 13, and a PSA 9 at $14,100 on October 9, 2026

2. 2009 Supreme Victors Garchomp #5: $132,000

  • Sale: Fanatics Collect, September 27, 2026, PSA 10, 33 bids
  • Why it matters: the lot page lists a PSA population of 1 for the standard holo, and Scrydex shows 1 PSA 10 of 230 graded. Reverse holo and stamped versions have their own PSA 10s, which is why Scrydex also shows a PSA 10 National Championship copy at $3,185.95 on eBay on September 20, 2026

3. 2009 Supreme Victors Garchomp C LV.X #145: $43,200

  • Sale: Fanatics Collect, October 4, 2026, PSA 10, 24 bids
  • Why it matters: the most available card of the top four, with a PSA population of 43. PSA 10s sold for $24,600 in April 2026 and $26,840 at Goldin on October 25, 2026, so the $43,200 result was the high, not the going rate

4. 2013 Plasma Freeze Garchomp #120: $43,200

  • Sale: Fanatics Collect, October 18, 2026, PSA 10, 42 bids
  • Why it matters: ties No. 3 on price, with a PSA population of 29 on the lot page. Another PSA 10 sold for $30,000 a week later. A PSA 9 sold for $4,080 on October 18, 2026, against $1,050 on February 22, 2026

5. 2007 Japanese Moonlit Pursuit Garchomp Lv.X: $14,999

  • Sale: Fanatics Collect Buy Now, October 19, 2026, PSA 10
  • Why it matters: the Japanese printing of the $900,000 card, without the 1st Edition mark and with a PSA population of 102 on the lot page. This exact slab (cert 107333988) sold for $2,099 at Fanatics Collect on September 24, 2026. Two PSA 10s at $23,400 and $22,200 on October 25, 2026 were still Unpaid in Fanatics Collect's records on November 1, 2026, so we do not rank them

  • Why it matters: the modern chase. The premium here sits in the Black Label, because PSA 10s are common

  • Why it matters: the 1st Edition version of No. 5, with a CGC population of 3 on the lot page

Why the Garchomp LV.X Jumped

An LV.X card goes on top of the same Pokémon in play and can still use the attacks and Poké-Powers of its previous level. Majestic Dawn's Garchomp LV.X was printed in 2008 with art by Ryo Ueda, and its $900,000 result came in a run of six PSA 10 LV.X sales totaling $2,196,000 at Fanatics Collect, per ComicBook.com. ComicBook says scarcity is only part of it: Garchomp is a signature Sinnoh Pokémon, Cynthia made it famous in Diamond, Pearl and Platinum, and Ueda's art pushes through the silver LV.X frame.

The scarcity is real, because PSA 10s of this card barely exist:

  • PSA 10s: 12,202 of 20,217 graded, or 60.4%, per Scrydex

That gap is why a modern PSA 10 sells in the hundreds. One Destined Rivals SIR in PSA 10 brought $409 at Goldin on March 29, 2026, and Scrydex shows a PSA 10 at $350 on eBay on October 31, 2026.

Our take: seven PSA 10s make a high price easy to understand, but one sale does not set a market. Writing about the Infernape LV.X in the same run on September 26, 2026, ComicBook's Chris Guest said: "Thin sales histories always deserve some caution, as a low-pop card can go a long time without producing any meaningful public comps."
