Pokémon LAIC 2027 Reveals Its Salamence Kit: The Dates Collectors Need
Salamence is the face of Pokémon's next Latin America International Championships, and the new competitor kit gives collectors a reason to read the registration details carefully. The 2027-season LAIC runs November 20 to 22, 2026 in São Paulo. Its official hub lists different registration timings for competitors and spectators. The kit is a competitor benefit, not a reason to assume every ticket includes the same items.
The 2027 Event Happens in 2026
The season name can trip up a calendar search. This is the first International Championships event of the 2027 Championship Series, but its actual dates fall in November 2026. The venue is Centro de Convenções - Distrito Anhembi in São Paulo, Brazil.
The September 4 PokéBeach report highlights the newly revealed Salamence theme. For final planning, though, the official event page and registration platform take precedence over a roundup or repost. That is especially important when a date is copied without its time zone.
What the Competitor Kit Includes
Pokémon says all competitors receive a welcome kit that includes a cap, playmat, card sleeves, deck box, and International Championships-stamped promo card, plus other items. The official hub displays the kit and separate prize imagery. A welcome item and a placement prize are different things, even when both carry the event's visual identity.
For a collector, that creates several details worth keeping together: the event, the year printed on the item, the language of a card, and whether the item came from participation or a competitive finish. A listing that says only “LAIC exclusive” leaves much of that unanswered.
Do not assume a spectator ticket includes the competitor welcome kit. If you are attending to watch, read the spectator offering on its own terms. If an item later appears on the secondary market, ask for clear photographs of the actual item rather than treating the promotional artwork as proof of what will be delivered.
The Registration Times to Save
The official hub lists competitor wave one for September 22 at 19:00 BRT, equivalent to 15:00 PDT. Competitor wave two opens September 23 at 09:00 BRT, equivalent to 05:00 PDT.
The important distinction is the spectator opening: the official page lists September 23 at 09:00 BRT, also 05:00 PDT. That differs from secondary coverage suggesting spectators open with the first competitor wave. Use the official schedule, convert it into your own local time, and check again before registration opens.
Collect the Details, Not Just the Hype
An event stamp gives an item a specific connection to organized play. It does not establish the number printed, future demand, or an eventual resale price. No verified production count is supplied in the event details checked for this article, so none should be inferred from the word “exclusive.”
