Most Valuable Mudkip Cards: The $3.72 Million Art Academy Promo and the $1.02 Million Gold Star

The most valuable Mudkip card is the 2015 Japanese Art Academy promo illustrated by Daisuke Ochiai, which sold for $3,720,000 in PSA 10 at Fanatics Collect in September 2026. Days earlier, a 2004 Gold Star Mudkip PSA 10 sold for $1,020,000, also at Fanatics Collect. Other PSA 10 copies of both cards are in Goldin's October auction. Below are the most valuable Mudkip cards with dated sales, how sure each number is, and how to spot them.
Current as of October 11, 2026. Fanatics Collect sale prices include buyer's premium. Goldin figures are live bids before Goldin's 22% premium.

Gold Star Mudkip #107, PSA 10
- $85,000 bid, 6 bids, per the lot page
A bid is not a sale, and both are far below the September prices so far. We will update this page after the auction closes.
How to Tell Which Mudkip You Have
Art Academy promo: a Japanese XY-P promo with a fan illustration and the winner's name, Daisuke Ochiai, in the illustrator line. It was never sold in packs. The PSA label on the $3.72 million copy reads "2015 P.M. JPN. XY PROMO".
Gold Star Mudkip: card 107/109 from EX Team Rocket Returns, with a star after the name, illustrated by Masakazu Fukuda. Goldin's lot text says 42 of more than 1,410 graded copies have reached PSA 10.
Population changes: the Fanatics listing for the $3.72 million copy said only two Art Academy Mudkips had graded PSA 10, and Goldin's October listing says three. Counts grow as more cards are graded.
Graded copies: at these prices, verify the cert number on PSA's site before you pay.
