The most valuable Neo Genesis card by confirmed sales at Fanatics Collect and Goldin is the 2000 1st Edition holo Lugia #9: a PSA 10 sold for $360,000 after 25 bids in a Fanatics Collect weekly auction on August 30, 2026. Our most valuable Lugia cards guide covers an even bigger 1st Edition Lugia PSA 10 sale of $654,000 elsewhere in September 2026. Behind Lugia, a 1st Edition Typhlosion in CGC Pristine 10 sold for $336,000 and a 1st Edition Slowking in PSA 10 for $216,000.

Current as of October 20, 2026. Sales are from Fanatics Collect's sold records, confirmed on each lot page that is still online, and Goldin lot records. Auction prices include buyer's premium. Only single cards with sales marked paid (Fanatics Collect) or sold (Goldin) are ranked, so multi-card lots and sealed product are left out. Fanatics dates are auction close dates in Pacific time, so lot pages can show the next day. Fanatics Collect lot pages show a result as sold even when its sold records still list it as unpaid.

Two of Each Starter

Neo Genesis printed two different holos for each Johto starter's final form: Meganium #10 and #11, Typhlosion #17 and #18, Feraligatr #4 and #5. They sell very differently. A 1st Edition Meganium #10 PSA 10 sold for $56,000 and a #11 for $19,999, both as Fanatics Collect Buy Nows in September and October 2026. Check the card number before you compare prices. Typhlosion #18's best paid result is $8,700 for a CGC Pristine 10 on September 20, 2026, against $336,000 for #17. Two #18 PSA 10s closed at $22,800 and $22,200 on October 18, 2026, still unpaid on October 20.

How to Check a Neo Genesis Price Yourself

Check 1st Edition or Unlimited on the label. A 1st Edition Lugia PSA 10 sold for $360,000 in August 2026, an Unlimited one for $180,000 in September.

Count only paid sales. Fanatics Collect's sold items records mark some results as unpaid (the lot page still says sold), and those can fall through. On October 20, 2026, a $216,000 1st Edition Feraligatr #5 PSA 10 from October 18 was still unpaid.

Check the population. The 1st Edition Togetic had 153 PSA 10s on its lot page on October 20, 2026, the Slowking 17. Our guide on how to read the PSA pop report shows how to check how many copies exist.
