The most valuable Venusaur card with a confirmed sale is a 1999 Base Set 1st Edition Venusaur #15 graded PSA 10, which sold for $75,640 including buyer's premium at Goldin in February 2026. Its holder carries a "Logan Paul Break" label, and SI Collectibles reported it alongside the Charizard and Blastoise from the same break. The Logan Paul Venusaur sold for far less than the Charizard and Blastoise from the same break, but everyday 1st Edition PSA 10s of Venusaur and Blastoise are close: PriceCharting valued them at about $36,500 and $37,500 on October 8, 2026. Below are the biggest Venusaur sales we could match to an auction lot page, what each print is worth now, and what to know before you buy one.

Current as of October 8, 2026. Ranked prices are public sale results including buyer's premium. Value estimates are PriceCharting market prices.

The Most Valuable Venusaur Cards Ever Sold

1. Venusaur #15, 1999 Base Set 1st Edition, PSA 10 ("Logan Paul Break" label): $75,640

  • Sale: Goldin, February 16, 2026, including buyer's premium, after 25 bids, per the lot page and SI Collectibles
  • Why it matters: Joaqin Valencerina of SI Collectibles wrote on February 21, 2026: "The card closed at $75,640, which marks the highest price ever paid regardless of language." That held at the time. Goldin's lot page, posted for the February 2026 auction, said 144 of more than 3,475 graded copies had reached PSA 10

2. Venusaur #15, 1999 Base Set 1st Edition, PSA 10: $39,040

  • Sale: Goldin, May 2026, including buyer's premium, after 15 bids
  • Why it matters: the same card and grade without the label, at about half the Logan Paul price

3. Venusaur #15, 1999 Base Set 1st Edition, PSA 10: $35,380

  • Sale: Goldin, August 2026, including buyer's premium, after 16 bids, also recorded by PriceCharting
  • Why it matters: the most recent PSA 10 sale we could match to a public lot page

4. Venusaur, 1996 Japanese Alpha Playtest Mounted on Card, CGC 10: $29,280

  • Sale: Goldin, September 2024, including buyer's premium, after 43 bids
  • Why it matters: a prototype from before the Japanese Base Set, and the lot page said it was one of only two copies in CGC's census reporting

5. Venusaur #15, 1999 Base Set 1st Edition, PSA 10: $15,860

  • Sale: Goldin, June 2024, including buyer's premium
  • Why it matters: two years later, PSA 10 copies sold for about two to five times as much

Fanatics Collect's card-level sales history, as of October 8, 2026, also lists PSA 10 sales at $48,000 (December 2025) and $43,200 (March 2026). Card Ladder records seven PSA 10 sales from July 8 to October 8, 2026, from about $30,200 to about $79,000, the latest at $78,000 on September 20. We could not tie those to a specific lot or slab, so they are not ranked. And another PSA 10 had a $42,000 current bid after 14 bids on October 8, 2026 in Fanatics Collect Weekly Auction #247, which closes the night of October 11 (US Eastern). Modern Venusaur: What It Sells For

Venusaur ex #198, Special Illustration Rare, Scarlet & Violet 151 (2023)

  • About $95 ungraded and about $433 in PSA 10, per PriceCharting on October 8, 2026

Venusaur vs Charizard and Blastoise

The same Logan Paul break produced all three 1st Edition starters in PSA 10, and they sold at Goldin in February 2026 for very different prices, per the Charizard and Blastoise lot pages and SI:

  • Charizard: $954,800
  • Blastoise: $138,880
  • Venusaur: $75,640

Our take: the Logan Paul label roughly doubled the price. Unlabeled 1st Edition PSA 10s sold for $35,380 and $39,040 at Goldin in 2026, against $75,640 for the labeled copy. If you are pricing one, compare several recent sales of the same print and grade, not just the record.
